The Pathfinder Immigration Project was created to help Newcomers better relate and understand the local community while gaining a deeper appreciation for the Indigenous tradition and experience in the region.
To be eligible to participate, you must have:
-a valid Permanent Resident card
-status as a protected person or convention refugee with a letter from the Immigration and Refugee Board
-a letter from IRCC showing you have been Approved in Principle eligibility for Permanent Residence
-employed as a Live In Caregiver with work permit with initial approval
-COPR document and considered a protected person or convention refugee
Please note: Beginning in April 2021, we will be inviting Newcomers to attend and participate in events and activities which are regularly offered to members of our Indigenous Community.
